Chicago Remembers Raymond McCreesh and Patsy O’Hara.

Far away from the hills of south Armagh or the streets of Derry, activists in Chicago marked the 40th Anniversaries of 1981 Hunger Strikers Raymond McCreesh and Patsy O’Hara.
Both died after enduring 61 days on Hunger Strike. Both were remembered in a short ceremony at the steps of the Irish American Heritage Centre in Chicago.
The resolve of these two young men, aged 23 and 24 could not be broken by the British Government in the cells of Long Kesh. We join Chicago in remembering them with pride.
