Now is the time to discuss & plan what a new, united Ireland would look like - Rose Conway Walsh, TD

Rose Conway Walsh, TD for Mayo and Spokesperson Public Expenditure, National Development Plan, and Reform spoke at the Joint Committee on the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement.

She said, "When a referendum is called, it is too late to have the discussion, and then you have a panicked discussion, and you could end up with a Brexit situation. Now is the time to plan and prepare for a new and United Ireland. We cannot fall into the traps that were fallen into in terms of Brexit."

Now is the time for a healthy conversation about things that matter every day to people.
